Baking is very comforting . . . and with baking I always have such good memories! I do agree . . . I miss baking and baked goods too. I can't even have a brownie mix in the house. Good news is you have your garden to tend to and can make many a healthy meal out of all your fresh veggies. I went to the local Amish farm yesterday and picked up a bag of all different kinds of in season lettuce and I made the best salad from it . . . along with some chicken and it made a great dinner. If you still have the urge to bake, you can always surprise someone with a delicious pie or loaf of bread or whatever you like to bake. I am sure they would love it! 1905 days ago
Oh I feel your pain lol. Baking has always been my stress relief, and now the kids are grown and gone, and nobody here to eat it except hubby and I. So, when the kids are going to be here for a visit, bakefest!!!!!!!! LOL And on holidays, you take it to a dinner invite and watch others enjoy your efforts. 1906 days ago
