Having fun, still jogging... the streak continues

Cardio Streak Day 372
45 minute walk/jog
0700hrs 70F

Last night I went to the out of town civic function that I mentioned. I should have realized when I pulled up in the parking lot and noticed that virtually everything in the lot was a pickup truck of some sort or another. I was in a sedan! Inside, not only did all the guys have on jeans, but the women, too! The "uniform" of the night seemed to be jeans, boots, and stetsons! I seem to have said I was going to get some jeans to better fit in out here, but I didn't do it yet...

My friend, however, did his usually bang-up job of catering the BBQ and I might say that it was wonderful. I didn't pig out, though, and only had about six ounces. It's amazing how full you can feel after eating, even though you don't get that second (or third) helping!

After the business portion of the meeting, they spread sawdust on the floor and the C&W band came out. Actually, they were pretty darn good. After an hour or so, I thought I might actually turn into a pumpkin so off I went, into a lightning storm which was really great.

I've been thinking about my one-year cardio streak that I completed last week. I'm thinking of extending it to 500 days.

Today I slept in, did a few things around here, and then did a 45 minute jog. I covered 3.55 miles in 45 minutes. With the warm up and cool down, the day was:
4.15 miles

I'm sure you can make 500 days without "breaking a sweat" (other than the one the jogging causes, of course).

    GREAT JOB! IT'S WEIRD WHEN YOU EAT THAT MUCH FOOD AT ONE TIME. I KNOW I SOMETIMES EAT 4 MEALS AND OTHERS 5 AND THE 4 MEALS MAKE YOU FEEL SO MUCH FULLER RIGHT AFTER.
