I have figured out how to keep eating healthy on the weekends, or at least figure in some not-as-healthy foods into the schedule without throwing me off. I don't get upset if I have ice cream or chips with what I'm eating, it's part of my food choices and I live comfortably with them. Anything in moderation for me, as long as it tastes good. Just because my whole family is home and hovering, doesn't mean that the food should change. The kids are young enough I can still influence their decisions well enough. They love fruit and would eat that all day if I leave it out. They still like the occasional candy too, but who doesn't? I still have the occasional candy, I might even pick myself up a good box of chocolates for mother's day... or at least hint toward the small $1 box.
The problem I am still having is getting the exercise. I hate just going out and exercising by myself when there are able bodies to walk with me, it's just that usually they don't want to, especially the husband. I only have the weekend to properly do my shopping, so I have to figure the grocery shopping at two different stores in addition to getting to the Y or at the very least running out to the park. Sometimes I just don't want to do all of that, it's overwhelming to do it all.
Tomorrow I will have to do some grocery shopping, that's when I'll have the grocery money again, fortunately it's really quiet in the morning when everyone else is at church. I might be going out with my Mother to some craft show across the street also, plus I want to fit in the Sunday session of Fitness Yoga. I'm just not sure how it will all fit into the plan, especially when plans are up in the air still.
Today my plan is to at least walk around the park once to finish off my calorie burn for the week, the plan says I only have to burn 33 more calories to be done, so any movement I do will burn that off. I need to get some laundry done, but that can wait for everyone to come back from "free comic book day" at The Source today, so I have at least 2 hours before I have to do any real chores.
Feel free to check up on me, I've placed my fitness trackers back to public now that I've got the tracking all figured out. I still have my food choices public. Having them up makes me more honest because I never know if someone's looking. It also helps that if I do a Spark video, they have a convenient button to add it to my trackers, I get to do 2 videos today because I wasn't going to do the Pilates video on a day I was doing Yoga.
Here's to a busy weekend, mostly because I didn't do my chores all week...
