Blog 205: Eating Pattern and Post Half Marathon Plans

Okay, tomorrow is the big day. I'm rather anxious. You'd think having to work two of my three jobs today would make it better, but I'd rather not have to work. Thankfully, I found out one of the girls I enjoy working with is working tonight.
I haven't been doing my best with eating over the last week or so. My hormones are going a bit mad and my body is adjusting to the high mileage, but I'm going to break the pattern before it becomes a habit. When the race is over I'm going to be focusing solely on weight loss for a few weeks until I begin marathon training.
A new nutrition place is opening down the road from work and I'm going to stop in. I want my body fat percentage to go down. The number on the scale doesn't bother me so much now, I just want to be a leaner version of my current self. I've been neglecting my strength training because I didn't want to overtax my body while preparing for the race. But after the race I'll be ready to start again and then adjust as I need to for my distance running.
I don't know which marathon I'm going to aim for after this half, but it is definitely in the plans somewhere.
