If you read yesterday's blog, you know what I'm talking about.

And here is a link to the Run Jester Run Friends Group.

The Jester, Ed, is the inspiration for me to stick around and cheer on the later finishers.

Come join us at the Facebook group, introduce yourself, and let 'em know you came from SparkPeople! And then, maybe we can get you some company for the next big race in YOUR town, and a new Team Jester group can cheer together!

You are a wonderful person! I love cheering everyone on! I even slowed down at my 10k on Saturday to check on a runner who really slowed down. She was fine, had a cramp. I lost some time and a little whole later she blew by me. It's ok though, I would have worried about her if I hadn't stopped.

Thanks John for bring this to everyone's attention. I am always toward the end of the pack, but cheering those who are even further behind me is the best part of the race. In Palm Springs, the lady who crossed last was so excited, enthusiastic, and confident. It is just as you describe, so rewarding and emotionally packed to see the faces of the runners light up as you jump around cheering and sometimes run with them.
