May 1st week challenge blog, May Goals

When I look back on April's goals. I have to admit I didn't set any. I joined the April Challenge without any goals in mind other than needing to get my butt back on track. I knew that with the help of my friends here on the BSG Challenges I would be able to do that. I did get back on track and lost 2lbs in the process.

May Goals:

Ecercise goal walk either a mile to 2 miles a day weather permitting. On bad weather day get my cardio in with Just Dance 3 30 minutes a day.

Nutrition stay within my calorie range low end of 1200 calories and keep my carbs down to 137g per day.

Lose 4lbs this month.

Build up my stanima so I can extend my walking distances.

Trying to keep my goals simple this month so that i can hopefully reach them.

    I think I have learned that making simple yet challenging goals is a good idea, and that there's an art to doing it. Keeping track of miles may be a better goal than walking for a certain amount of time because it's not necessarily related to time. I should also try that.

    Debbie, I think these a achievable golas and you will do awesome!! I tried Just Dance 3 this weekend and wow my arms were sore, but I had a really good time doing it. I think i will show my mother this game when she comes to visit in a little over a month.

    I think you're doing great Debbie! I know the past couple of months have been hard on you but I'm glad you came back and lost 2 pounds! I think it's great that you've set simple, realistic, yet challenging goals to achieve this month. emoticon

    It's always great to see folks who don't give up no matter what. You made progress! Congrats, and thanks. Somehow it's easier knowing that I'm not the only one things happen to.

    Debbie you are doing emoticon . Keeping your goals simple for April was a good choice for you because it was a truly difficult time for you and it worked because you did get back on track and lost a couple of pounds. That is emoticon . I was very glad to see you come back to Spark so quickly. this month's goals are emoticon too. I think it is a very wise thing for you to keep them simple as the grieving process is a strange thing. By keeping your goals simple you will be able to achieve them without the necessity of stessing. You will be able to build your stamina until you are able to do your exercise easily and you have all those furry friends to help you. Take each day at a time and come the end of the month you will see how wise your choice was! emoticon emoticon

    Debbie, April was a tough month for you, but you got back to the challenge (I was so happy to see you back!) and you were able to lose two pounds, so it was a total success! I think your goals for this month are great! It's smart to keep them simple but important, so you can focus on them each day and find success.
