Food Diary: 5/4/12

Two scrambled eggs
Coffee with cream and sugar

Salad with grilled chicken, dried cherries, almonds and mandarin oranges

Grilled skirt steak with button mushrooms and asparagus

Tea with milk

Mostly a good day, I think the dressing on my salad wasn't particularly healthy, but I only ended up eating about half of it. By the time dinner rolled around I was ravenous, but the edamame made for a filling and healthy appetizer. Super busy day and I am just beat, 12,000 steps taken according to my FitBit and that doesn't account for anything before 11 AM, as I forgot to put it on in the morning. I like having the FitBit around to remind me of how active I am on a given day, it's a good reminder to park at the far end of the parking lot, and do the other small things I can to be a little more active, not just when I'm working out, but in every day life.
