Two goals for today...

To start living a healthy lifestyle you can't just JUMP into it all at the same time. It's like jumping into the deep end of the pool without knowing how to swim properly first. I mean, you could probably float for a few seconds but then you'd end up sinking. Yeah. Same goes for living healthy (and with it comes weight loss, toning, etc.). You have to take baby steps to get to where you really want to be.

That's where I am today. I'm pretty much having to start all over again because once upon a time I was actually living a pretty healthy lifestyle and my body kept changing because of it! My body AND mind. I NEED that back again!!!!

So today I have TWO goals in mind that I NEED to keep! I need to get these done today! And tomorrow, and the next.

Goal #1: Drink 8 glasses of water!!! So far I have had two glasses!

Goal #2: No eating after 8pm. PERIOD!!!! I sometimes eat out of boredom or just because I want something to munch on while I watch TV. Ugh! BAD habit (unless you count calories and save a few for a "in front of tv" snack). But I just want to cut out the eating after 8pm. Sometimes I get done with a workout late at night though so I might make an exception on JUST THOSE DAYS and try to make them protein shakes. Which reminds me, I need to go buy some protein powder since i'm all out.

So those are THE two goals I have in mind today and for ALL of next week as well. Next week I think I'll add one more goal to work on. I don't want to overwhelm myself but I have also BEEN HERE and I've done this already so I know how it goes. At the very beginning though I slowly added different goals. I'm in higher speed right now since I have been down this road already and you can call this a refresher :)

For breakfast today I had a greek yogurt with sliced bananas and some granola sprinkled on top and a cup or two of coffee. I haven't had a mid morning snack yet. Not sure what I'll have.

So that's it for now. Gotta go take my son to something called kinder shots, soccer for little boys. He LOVES soccer!!!! Then later on tonight zumba with a friend instructor! We went to the same zumba certification workshop and he's already got so many gigs!!! :) I don't know if I'll ever be ready to teach a zumba class! Maybe someday!

    You can do this!!! As you said, you have done it before and you will do it again! You don't have very far to go this time. You still look fantastic, so all you need to do it just get back into it!!!

    Good luck on reaching your goals, I KNOW you can do it!

Ahhh Zumba, totally loved the class I took but was too hard on my knees. Maybe when I drop a few... who knows.

Remember, take small steps to reach big goals. You think you can, I know you can.
