Friday!

Friday, May 04, 2012

I'm happy it's Friday but at the same time I'm very disappointment with this week since I have been battling a cold and not really logging on and exercising. I was just getting started feeling so motivated and this cold knocked me on my butt. I still can hardly breathe and I think I'm still going to wait to work out until tomorrow. When I'm healthy, I feel energized and driven but when I'm sick like this, all I want to do is eat because I'm at home, bound to the bed, watching TV, and knocked out by cold medication. I'm exhausted, a little demoralized and dreading the scale.

Thanks. You're right. I know I'll be back on track. It's just that this cold just caught me right when I so set to get this going. I know that I will face obstacles but logging on this site and the support from others really helps. Thanks again.

Go easy on yourself. When (IF) if you step on the scale for this week, do so knowing that it's likely to be up and accepting that. It's not a bad thing if you already KNOW how and why it could be. It's just a fact to be looked at then left behind.

How many weeks, months, years, have you spent not working out and eating too much - that had nothing to do with being so sick you could hardly breathe? Compare that to a single week of legitimately not being able to stay on track. You'll be right back on track soon, and in a few weeks or a couple months this will be a mere blip in your efforts that is long since overcome.
