Second off...the workouts...
been doing well with them. Monday was my first day off in a while, but I needed to just take it easy that day, with the finger and all. Which, by the way, is feeling way better. The tip of the finger is still kind of numb and funny feeling. I'm not going to lose the nail though, so yay!
Tonight is Emily's first of 5 life guarding classes. Tonight they do all the swimming tests (swimming 300 yards, treading water for 2 minutes, and a rescue test). They have to pass all the tests in order to continue on with the classes. I know she can do this, but if you could all send her positive energy, warm thoughts, etc. that would be really cool!
After tonight, then it's studying the books this weekend, and a written exam next weekend, and also the CPR certification.
The boys are doing good too, just nothing really new to report about them!
Otherwise, everything here is going well. Going to finish writing a paper today for school, and then I'm down to 5 weeks left of my associates!!
Tomorrow I will finish the first week of the Spring into Shape Bootcamp challenge. Turns out, the videos used for the challenge, are the ones I've been using over the last 2 to 3 weeks to tone up. So it's not any different than what I had been doing. I can feel my muscles coming alive all over my body. I can really feel them in my stomach...just hope one day I can see those ones. I swear, I'm losing, but my stomach just is not getting any smaller and some days I think it's gotten bigger! Maybe all those muscles are pushing my stomach out more??!! LOL!
Then again, last year it was not until I hit around 165 that I noticed my stomach really starting to slim down. Guess it's the last thing to go...go figure!
OK, so that is all here. Going to go get my workout in, then eat breakfast, and then...well who knows what the day will bring! I hope you all have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!!
Edit - My good friend there asked about the not-smoking, and I hadn't even thought to mention it. That's because the further out I get, the less I think about it. Yes - I'm still smoke-free and today is day 13! I'm feeling great, no longer having cravings, and am thinking less and less about it. I'll be stepping down (or is it up?) to Step 2 of the patches on Sunday morning. I can't wait to be done with the patches and just done all together!
