As I had no immediate place to go, I made myself stay in bed and managed a very broken six hours of sleep. I decided not to exercise this morning, but went to the club to finish my month end and then went to my bank to deposit the cheque for my bridge Game Director earnings. Then I came home and discovered the laundry was actually free!! I quickly hustled in two loads, black and lights. Then came and gave my suite a good vacuum. The hairdresser said she would be free around 11:30 am, so in between loads (I put my bedding in as well after the others were done) I finally squeezed in a haircut I had been needing. But it took a long time. The poor hairdresser had a lot of her equipment and supplies stolen by the thieves -including her large clippers :( So it took her an hour to use the tiny portable ones she had, normally only takes 15 minutes. So I got home and had to have a quick shower as the little spiky hairs all over drive me crazy. Then as I was eating lunch Mom called. I was not packed and ready to go, so I went to my podiatrist's appointment, she was very busy so did not have time to make permanent adjustments to my orthotics, so said drop them off Monday morning and she would find the time to work on them that week.
Then we went to Costco and I stocked up to the tune of $130 :) One of the things I bought at long last was DVD's to record on -now I have no excuse I can save the the stuff I want to on my old computer and finally reformat it. But the DVD's are just loose packed in a container so I will have to find something (sleeves or cases) to put them in no idea where to get those.
Went back to my place, dropped everything off and packed up my stuff, took a while :( Then as soon as we got home, Mom said lets go hit the trails before it got dark. So we did. So a brief glimpse of one beaver, but it was too cold and windy to stand still for long and quickly hit the trails. Near the University, we saw the cutest little rabbit, mostly brown, but with white speckled ear tips! We saw the magnificent pelicans and just one cormorant, and plenty of geese and ducks. We took the paved paths one way and the hiking trails back to get out of the winds. They were muddy from the rains, but we could get around the worst parts. We went 9.28 Km in 2 hrs and 15 minutes. Came home and had supper, then I read the newspaper and other papers while watching a good show on the sasquatch -always been fascinated by that story.
Then I got to Sparking and forgot what an internet heck this place is. Everything so very, very slow to load. Its going to take me forever to catch up, especially with all the trophies on the friend feed -you guys are great Sparkers!!
Tomorrow morning -my first try at a Bosu class! Wish me luck!
Have a Fantastic Friday all!
