It has been a year since I have blogged anything. I got away from recording my progress and found lots of excuses to not exercise or eat right. I allowed lots of things to get in the way. That being said...... I'm going to try again.
I started 11 days ago trying to limit my carbs &/or sugars and have walked between 1.5 to 2 miles 10 days out of the 11. I have added fresh fruits into my evening smoothie made with tofu & soy milk. I am beginning to see benefits of fresher looking skin. I also am not dragging as bad. Not bad for being 60+!!
So... the goal now is to try to keep this up one more week & see where it goes. The scales went up more last week & I hit a new high - not a good thing! I keep reminding myself that feeling better is a plus and a good reason to keep working.
Whether anyone reads this or not, I need to keep up with blog for me.
