An update

Thursday, May 03, 2012

First, thank you to everyone for all of the kind words about my last blog post--I really means a lot to me.

We are trying another medication at the advice of our vet and waiting until mid to late next week to see if we get positive changes in our dog's eating and mobility. I'm hopeful but if things don't improve at least we will know we have done everything.

I also went to the gym tonight and mentally feel a lot better.

I'm with you in thought and prayer.
My dog, Choochoo, a shih-tzu, eleven years old, had surgery on Wednesday for a hernia, and it was more complicated than expected. I was so worried I couldn't even talk to anyone about my concern. Right now, though, I am waiting for a phone call from the vet to come pick her up. I am so thankful!
You love your dog, so I'm sure whatever you decide will be best for your dog and for you. Please be comfortable with your decision.

Great for the gym - I also often experience that it reduces stress.
    Hope things turn good soon.
