I was scared to do this today. I was thinking what if I hurt myself, or can't keep up with everyone on the screen. I won't lie, it was hard and worth pushing myself through it.

It started out with a warm up which is just as intense as the whole routine. There were moves that I just couldn't do but I kept trying to do them. If I felt pain I stopped or slowed my movements down.

I did learn one thing doing this workout today. I need to keep my CORE ENGAGED!! So many moves you have to use your core and I realized how I wasn't using them. So my goal with this is to see my core get stronger over time.

Tomorrow I will do the next workout. I think I will do it after I meet with my wellness coach at the Y since I don't know what to expect with that tomorrow


I am thankful for:
1. My son having the Insanity workout
2. Pushing myself to try something new and different
3. Having my heart monitor to make sure I am in my target heart range.

    Great things to be thankful of :D

I think most of exercises, even though those that not majorly focus on core, we can keep our core always in engage mode, it will help more with performance and get more benefit :D Ever since I joined pilate class, I use what I learned from classes to my other workout and I think I have more improvement!

    So very proud of you! I finished the 1st month (finally! after 3 tries) and did the transition week. I have not started month 2, although did do the 1st DVD a couple of times. It's a LOT MORE INSANE than month one! Keep going!
