Setting a New Goal

Although I needed to lose 10 more pounds to reach my old goal, I'm going ahead and setting a NEW GOAL! Now, I will need to lose 20 more to reach my goal! I think that when I looked at my ticker and saw that I only needed to lose 10 pounds, it somehow gave me permission to ease up and be too lenient on myself. I gave myself permission to have dessert too many times and to skip workouts too often.
No more looking through rose-colored glasses! With a new goal set, I hope to see clearly that I really need to tighten up. I'm going back to measuring my portions, because they have gradually increased in size. I'm going to force myself to get some exercise each day. I hope that the scales will finally began to move in the right direction and maybe sometime this very year, I will arrive at my goal!
