I have a secret. It’s kind of horrible, maybe gross even. I wear the same shirt every day for a week before changing while doing my work out! I know, you may be thinking ewwww! I have to do it, there’s a method behind this madness. Did I mention that during work outs (only) that I am a dripping sweater! Makes it just that much more gross hunh? Talk about putting yourself out there, well how do you like them apples?

I do it because it keeps me motivated. I let it dry overnight so yes, it really does have a STENCH! Its oderific to put it mildly! I wear it as reminder that I created this smell by working out hard, that the smell is more than sweat. The smell is hard work, its perseverance, its endurance, its time put in, its effort, its motivation and more than that it means SUCCESS! It means that I have accomplished hours of exercise that I put in weeks of work, that the finish line is getting closer. It means that I made my heart rate soar, that I moved this body and that I gave it all I got!

So the sweat smelled funky shirt represents me in all my glory of getting IT IN! I know you may think it's just a hot funky mess but I wouldn’t trade the smell of this SUCCESS for anything, well at least until I get in the shower…lol!

HAHA! Love this post! I think more people do this than are willing to admit. I know I usually wear the short 2-3 times (and the pants, at least a week). Sadly, mine isn't for motivation purposes-- I hate laundry and don't have that much workout clothing.
But like the others say, draw motivation from whereever you can emoticon

Well I don't quite hang on to the same shirt all week but I do that with my two wonderful sports bras. I can't make it without them!! They do start to get to me toward the end of the week but I gotta stay consistent & I would use them not being dry from washing as an excuse to not workout!! Now we can't have that now can we?? LOL

You rock woman so do your thang by any means necessary!!!

I don't think I could do it but good for you. Maybe if I primarily worked out at home but since I go to a class at a community center I think I'll pass on subjecting others to my funky clothes

See we truly are twins! Never was a doubt to begin with, however! I have a set for my morning work outs, and I have a set for my nighttime workouts! They do not have a chance to dry totally in between! I dont glow or look dewey, I down right sweat, the ugly stinky drippy kind!

And Wonderwoman! laundry is evil! LOL
