I was talking to the Event Chair from Relay For Life earlier today to check to see if she received my RSVP for the Survivor and Caregiver Ice Cream Social on Tuesday. This location is one of the largest Relays in the area. While we were talking for an hour she said she would love for me to be a member of the Sub Committee on the Survivor Chair. I was wondering what I had talked my way into at first LOL she loves my enthusiasm and the ideas I was coming up with, which at the time were suggestions as to the questions she was asking me. I decided after about 15 minutes more of talking to her that I would love to be part of the committee for the 2012 Webster Lake Relay For LIfe.

Ironically later I received a phone call from a commitee member for the Avon 3 day Breast Cancer walk, she was checking to see if I had received all of the information I had requested about walking in the event. I informed her that I would not be able to raise all of the funds necessary to participate in the walk. She then asked if I would consider becoming a volunteer for the event. I said I would be interested in more information. Ten minutes ago I sent in my request to be a volunteer for the event if I can get transportaion to the event from here in Denver.The walk is starting from Keystone, Colorado and ending in Frisco, Colorado in the very beautiful Rocky Mountains that I love but can't afford to drive into anymore. would alos get some of the camping experience in also. I would so love this volunteer opportunity if it works out!
