Flushing

Wednesday, May 02, 2012

This is the first time that half way through a workout I started to flush. I started my workout with burpees, squats and a couple of high knees. I then decided to jog. It was about 25 minutes in and my whole body just started to flush, I was red and itchy. I tried to continue through my workout, I had to stop because all I could think about was the itch! Now that I've been sitting still and cooled down the itch is gone and I'm no longer red. I tried to google why this would happen, but I could not find a reliable source. Does anyone else have any idea why I would flush like that? Other than that I felt like my workout was going fantastic. This was my first time adding burpees to my workout and to be honest I absolutely love them! I could feel the burn right away!

I also wrote down a bunch of quotes and I'm going to put them all over the place. I'm still trying to figure out the best workout plan for myself. I'm slowly getting there. I have much more confidence in myself this time. I haven't felt disappointed in myself. I've stuck to my guns and I'm working out every day. I also think it helps that it's almost summer. The weather has been great and just getting out makes it easier to workout. My son likes to go on adventures and that's something we've been doing. It's a great way for the both of us to be active!

I'm still maintaining my weight, but I believe if I keep up with the effort I'm putting in now, the weight will hopefully melt away. I KNOW I CAN DO THIS! I'VE GOT THIS! emoticon

I told my son we could go on an adventure after dinner. I will hopefully get in the other half of my workout without flushing this time. Wish me luck! emoticon
