I overdid it on Monday with my workout. I didn't do anything obscene. My immense soreness yesterday was from a lack of exercise the previous month.
Today I was less sore. Make no mistake I was sore- lol, just less so. I did not exercise yesterday. I honestly don't think I could have. I could barely shift position! Too true.
In celebration of my halfway healed muscles, I exercised my fanny off. 30 min on the treadmill. 20 minutes at a 6% incline(it is difficult for me which is why I will continue to do it) and the other 10 min was without the incline. I did 1.75 miles in 30 minutes which is not fast or awesome but I was proud of myself. Then I did 20 min of strength training on my arms, 10 min of abs and then 10 min of stretching.
I saw a little picture on Pinterest today that said "Your workout is my warm-up" One day I will be able to say that. I can hardly wait!
But in the meantime...
I exercised well today. I ate well today. I feel well today.
