May 1: Cardio kickboxing workout done & tracked
May 2: 10 minute crunchless ab workout done (although with much less
accuracy than I wanted) & tracked. 45 cardio minutes tracked.
May 3: 10 minute lower body video done. It was killer. 40 minutes cardio done!
May 4: 7 minute upper body video done & tracked. 45 minutes cardio done.
May 5: 10 minute ab toning video done & tracked. 65 minutes cardio! whoo hoo!
May 6: butt toning video done. No cardio today, not feeling too well.
May 7: 7 minute arm video plus 45 minutes cardio. Done! Yay me!!!
Week 2 goals: Do 1 toning video per day, five 30-minute cardio sessions this week, track all workouts, do 2 bonus videos, track food 3 days this week.
May 8: 10 minute cardio kickboxing video. Done. 45 minutes cardio. Done.
May 9: 30 min. cardio done. 10 minute crunchless ab workout done.
May 10: 40 cardio minutes. 10 minute lower body workout video done. Food tracked & OMG! No wonder the scale isn't budging! Shame on me
May 11: 40 cardio minutes done. Food tracked :( 7 minute upper body video done.
May 12: 10 minute ab toning video done.
May 13: Arse kicking video done. Bonus 7 minute arm toning done.
May 14: 38 cardio minutes, 7 minute upper body video plus bonus inner & outer thigh video. 42 more cardio minutes.
Week 3 goals: do 1 toning video per day, do five 40 to 50-minute cardio sessions, eat 5 servings of fruits & veggies/day. Track food 3 days this week.
Tues. May 15: 10 minute kickboxing video plus 40 minute cardio. Only 4 servings of fruits & veggies. Wished popcorn counted as a veggie.
Weds. May 16: 10 minute crunchless ab video, 2 servings of fruits & veggies and no cardio :(
Thurs. May 17: 41 minute cardio, 6 minute lower body video, 42 minute cardio and 5 servings of fruits & veggies thanks to the delicious strawberries from the flea market! Go me!
Fri. May 18: 42 minutes cardio, 7 minute arm video plus 40 more minutes cardio. Only 4 veggie servings though.
Sat. May 19: 12 minute abs video, 60 minutes gardening.
Sun. May 20: 6 minute butt video. Can't remember fruits & veggies - computer malfunctioned.
Mon. May 21: 80 cardio minutes, 3 F&V servings, 7 minute upper body video.
Week 4 goals: do 1 toning video per day, do eight 40 minute cardio sessions this week & share goals.
Tues. May 22: 10 minute kickboxing video
Wed. May 23: 10 minute crunchless ab video, 53 minutes cardio.
Thurs. May 24: Uncle Jim isn't doing well after his colon cancer surgery so Dad and I are driving down to Florida to see him and picking up Uncle Clyde in Georgia on the way.
Fri. May 25: We get to the hospital and Uncle Jim is alert but still intubated. When they finally take the tubes out of his throat, he rasps that he's so happy to see us. We are so happy to see him too!
Sat. May 26: Uncle Jim is a little less active today. He tells me that toads in my garden will eat my strawberries! Buggers! Who knew?
Sun. May 27: He is even less active today. My cousin Jessica and I take turns feeding him ice chips because they won't let him have water. He tells me that he doesn't know what he'll do after I leave- there will be no one to feed him the ice chips. Uncle Jim also says that Anne (his GF) and Jimmy (his son) don't want him to check out. I tell him that no one wants him to check out. Then I ask "Why? Is it getting hard to fight the fight?" He says "No, it doesn't feel like it."
Mon. May 28: Uncle Jim talks even less today, they put in an NG tube to get medication right into his stomach. His blood pressure is low so they start yet another medication. Uncle Terry finally decides to come down. He'll be here tomorrow.
Tues. May 29: The doctors say there's nothing else they can do so we can take him home & make him comfortable but Uncle Jim passes before we can get him home. His way of making things simpler, I guess. At least I got to tell him that I loved him before he died. Uncle Terry gets here about 2 hours after he passed. Bad luck. We head for home. Uncle Jim chose cremation with no viewings.
