Patience is a Virture!

I want to be skinny today, I have to understand that it will take some time for that to happen! I have been working really hard this last week and although my clothes are a little less tight, I don't show any weight loss on the scale!

I have to remember that I am not a slave to the scale and focus on being healthy and making healthy choices and having the patience to see this through. I will not get discouraged or pulled away from my goals!

    As your clothes are a little less tight, I'd say you've probably lost fat no matter what the scale says. You may have added a little muscle, which is more dense than fat and takes up less space for the same weight. That's GOOD because muscle uses more calories even at rest than does fat.

    You didn't gain weight overnight. You won't lose it overnight. Good for you for all your hard work! You're doing VERY well if your clothes are fitting better already.
