Wasted time turned into wanting to help others.

Tuesday, May 01, 2012

I thought I would take some time from being active to play some games on the computer. Of course my mind was screaming at me in the back of my head that I should be up being active and that the games were not productive at all. I've found that I no longer like the games that I play on facebook anymore. The task of doing things and creating buildings is just not fun anymore. Even if these game companies offer money at times as prizes. I don't think that anything can place the money I could possibly earn from becoming healthy and getting a job.

I know that can't clean and exercise 12 hours a day until I do start working again. So what could be doing in th mean time. My mind quickly went to all the Sparkpeople. Instead of playing games I should be supporting people who are trying to reach thier goals.

Even if it's a quick "Good Morning welcome to Sparks!" it's much more productive than simply clicking on a computer key.

Totally in agreement with you - there's just something so fulfilling about cheering others on, much more than a game with very temporary "achievements" constantly replaced by something more you have to do.
