Sticking to the Training Plan

I'm still getting over the cold I've had for the last couple of days. It caused me to miss my last scheduled training jog of 12.1 miles on Sunday because I was dizzy and weak and had a very sore throat. It was the right decision. But since then I've been wondering if I should squeeze that long run in today or tomorrow or just stick with everything else that I had scheduled, and my friend LILPAT pushed me over the edge--I'm just going to stick to the plan and not worry about that last long jog. I'm ready for the half marathon even now, so i don't really need the workout anyhow.

Well, I'm off for a 5K jog followed by a 5-miler and a 2-miler later in the week. It's seriously windy outside in the Minneapolis area today which will make my jog interesting!

    It's windy down here in SE MN too. I've been dealing with a sinus infection or something this week also and although I'm running, etc., I'm not doing my best. As long as I do something I'm ok with it and I hope I get over it soon. I hope you feel better soon also and way to go on the jogging!
