Or running...or lifting...or whatever. :)
Yesterday was good - low calorie, 2 hours at the gym. I slept in this morning until 6 and didn't get out for a walk, but I did get to the gym for BodyBalance. Another low calorie day, too. I'm not even hungry. Much. LOL
Tomorrow I have another online seminar at 6 pm, so I won't be able to get to the gym again. I thought it was NEXT Wednesday. Maybe I can squeeze in a 4:30 class and make it home in time to log on. I would have to sneak out a little early, but I know the teacher, so maybe she won't dog me (or maybe she'll dog me worse). Regardless, I am committed to getting to bed early tonight and up early tomorrow to go for a walk. If I don't get to the gym, I will hop on my exercise bike after the seminar. Thursday I will probably go to BodyPump while DS is at soccer (no kids v parents game this week). Friday, walk or run, and then...
Brunch. Oh no!
Friday brunch is the big thing to do here, apparently. I have never been - not once in 4 years. So I will make up for that by going to a very fancy one. A former colleague is visiting from the UK, so there is a good excuse for it. I will drink. I will eat whatever I want - just not too much of it. And I'm keeping very low calorie all week to get ready for it.
Saturday we are having our neighbors over for dinner. Lasagna and salad - I'll go heavy on the salad, light on the lasagna, alcohol - but I'll probably have some - and dessert. I can't remember the last time I had alcohol two days in a row, or had plans with friends two days in a row, for that matter. What a stick in the mud I am! To be fair, most of my friends are single or married with no kids. Their lives are so different from mine. (I'm talking my female friends. Many of my male co-workers seem to party party party regardless of marital/parental status. I don't understand how they do it.)
Okay, I've wandered far afield here. To recap: my plans for the week have changed radically since yesterday, but I will continue to eat well (except for the weekend!) and exercise.
