Good Morning; DH called yesterday from work. He through a creditable source that there might be a job change. Last time this happened it was 2009 and we were caught unaware and unprepared. We have taken measures since then. But the source was good enough that he is putting his resume together again. We will know more by summer. Corporations have become an environment of churn. When I was working in high tech, sometimes a person would disappear on a Friday and the next week we would be wondering what happened. It is not a comfortable feeling waiting for a big organization to make decisions that will effect you and your family. What I am going to do is step up my structure of exercise and portion control. I need to stay disciplined. I even threw away a box of skinny cows - b/c at this time - I could eat an entire box in one sitting. So here we go again. I am stronger this time. have a good day. We are also cutting expenses now, just in case. Get some exercise in!!
The job world is a crazy place right now. I think you are wise to start making adjustments now, you never know what will happen. Kudos to you for knowing when to ditch the skinny cows. 1939 days ago
My husband experienced this sort of restructuring from both sides. First, he was the one making the decisions and informing the staff. Several years later, he was asked to do the same again, balked, and was separated because it. It is difficult from both sides. Best wishes to you. 1940 days ago
