Day 121: What's in Your Fridge/Pantry?

I saw one of the post/articles about the coaches fridges and it inspired me to think about what's in mine. I've really gotten into a routine of sorts of getting mostly the same things every week but with always keeping my eyes open for something new to throw into the mix. I also go to different stores each week now to get the best deals and also only certain stores offer some of the things.

From Trader Joe's or Healthy Home Market:
Soy Yogurt Plain (for veggie dip)
Soy Yogurt Vanilla (for fruit salad)

Plus I get a few other things for the kids and Fish for Marc. I buy his fish from Aldi. And I'm sure I'm forgetting somethings but this should cover the basics. They're kinda out of order because I keep adding as I think of them, but I think I'll get them organized and use this as a pantry/shopping list I can check off each week.

I went back up a pound but I'm not worried about it. It seems like once you break through to a new weight it's easier to get back to it. I'll be back there by tomorrow I bet. :)

I want to have some vanilla yogurt with some of the fruit....mmmmmm emoticon

We are in the same boat with a 1Lb gain....we are going to get rid of this and pass right by it!! Can't wait!!

    Great list you've got there. Also, I WISH we had Aldi's out here. I grew up going there for the vast majority of all our groceries, but they aren't out here in the Pacific Northwest.

That said, I work at a fabulous grocery store with really exceptional produce and meat and bakery items, and we have loads of organic foodstuff, too. It's nice to be able to go there considering the closest Whole Foods is too far of a drive for us.

Also, I've recently kicked the can of beans. I buy bags of beans now and cook them in the crockpot, then bag them and freeze them for use later. It saves me money, and I can do a bag of beans overnight without having to fuss with it. AND then I'm not worrying about what is in those cans that could be leeching into my food!

    Wow you have a lot of stuff in there!! Yours are way healthier than mine. I definitely need to cut out on the processed quick meal foods. Too high in sodium. I am always running all over the place so I feel I don't have time to always make something from scratch. I need to plan ahead, which is not a strong suit of mine. Any suggestions?

You'll be back down to 164 by weigh in so I wouldn't worry about it.

    I love your list! Thanks to Costco, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods I haven't been to a regular grocery store in quite a while. My two favorite things to get from Trader Joe's is the maple syrup, organic tempeh and organic sprouted tofu. They have the best prices around.
