Ok so I thought I would use Yoda's quote from The Empire Strikes back to help me focus on my plan for the next 12 weeks.....
My life is going to become increasingly busy for the next month and a half. Our landlord is deciding to sell the house that we are renting, so for the last month or so my husband and I have frantically been looking for a new place to live, and packing stuff that we are not using right at this moment. It has been quite crazy. Luckily, for me my husband has been off of work due to an injury for quite some time, so we were able to get a lot done before he returned to work today. My husband works 2 weeks on and 1 week off, so it should be a little interesting in trying to coordinate the move on the weeks that he is off. I am going to have to be packing everything else that I can, so that it will be done, and all we have to do is move. We have until June 15th to get out of this house, so we have a little bit of time, but it is going to go fast!! Anyway on top of that, the kids are in the last month and 1/2 of school. They get out June 6th, so again it will be a BIG scramble with the move falling right about the time that they get out of school. We are still looking for a house, and have applications in for several of them, just haven't heard yet! Obviously a little stress for me all around.
Stress is never a good friend! It usually works against all best intentions that I might have to stay on track, so for the next 12 weeks, and especially for this next 7 weeks, I am going to really work on keeping stress to a minimum.
My DO list, not my TRY list!!
*Find positive ways to relieve stress that don't include FOOD!
*Continue to drink my 8 glasses of water a day, more if needed.
*Exercise for a minimum of 20 minutes a day, but MORE like 60 minutes daily.
*Track what I eat by writing it down daily for the month of May.
*Do my best to track in range during weekend challenges that require it.
*Stock my kitchen with healthy food like fruit and veggies.
*Steer clear of the Fast Food Monsters out there.
*Participate in all BLC challenges for the Silver Spies!!
*Remind myself that it is about participation, and NOT perfection!
*Keep a positive outlook during this stressful time of my life!
