Going back to what works for me.

I went back to the South Beach style of eating yesterday. This seems to work for me so I wanted to try it again. I am not a purest and will have to make some substitutions because of my lactose intolerance. I do find that I am usually under calories but was great on my protein level yesterday. I feel good and with learning to eat so many foods that were new to me with the Mediterranean style I feel like I am eating very healthy. emoticon emoticon
I managed 33 minutes on the recumbent yesterday emoticon and 27 minutes with a ST and stretching DVD. emoticon
I did substitute some frozen yogurt for the recommended ricotta cheese dessert but needed the probiotics. I feel good today and am looking forward to Day 2. It will be harder today as I will be at work.
I think I will use the time there to plan menus and substitutions for a couple of days meal plans. emoticon

    I like the SB way of eating. It's easy and it's healthy. It's like the Mediterranean Diet to me. I just dug out my information and decided: Just do it! Let's walk this beach together.

    I have always thought that if weight loss was an exact science, none of us would struggle as we do too loose the weight. I think you have to experiment, and find your own way to a healthy lifestyle. Something you feel comfortable with and know you can do for the long haul.

    I too went back to what works for me recently (except last week). It is a tried, tested and true method. It is working very well. Keep up the great work!
