Good morning my darlings!

Just a quick hello, update, and a round of thank-yous . . .

I am experiencing a big transition with work right now . . . if you've read previous blogs, you know I have been shuffled to a project in another state for the last several months. However, my time in purgatory is coming to a close (rather sooner than expected - my company likes to keep me on my toes, apparently) as of the end of this week, so I am scrambling to get everything done here, get my act together, and start on a different project for my company as of next Monday. SO, I have a lot to do to prepare (more than I can think about without immediately having a panic attack, frankly).

My apartment currently looks like a third-world country, because it's been pretty much vacant for over a year, and due to construction on the adjacent building, it's covered in brick dust and regular dust and pretty much every kind of dust you can imagine. Therefore, there's going to be a whole lot of cleaning going on before I can occupy it again.

I have to somehow transport all the crap I've collected at my parents' house (in which I've been freeloading, since it's much closer to work, and in the same town as The Boy's house) back home, and figure out what to do with it.

I have to wash pretty much every curtain, towel, slipcover, pillow case, duvet cover, sheet, etc that has been sitting in my apartment during the construction, because dust has settled in everywhere and in everything. This also requires transport to and from, because I don't have laundry machines at my apartment.

The list goes on. And on. And includes STILL needing to find a dress for this #@#$@#$%#$%#$ wedding. In case you can't tell, I'm starting to get angry about the dress. Angry. Moving on. For now. Expect a dress rant in the near future.

I thought I'd have time to take a couple of days off to get all of this stuff done, but alas, that isn't going to happen. Thanks for that, Giant Soulless Corporation for which I work.

Anyway, the point is, I'm going to be a bit of an absentee for a little while, but I will do my best to keep up with you all. I will still log in to track, track, track, and probably peruse a blog or two, but I might be a little lax with the comments and responses for a bit. I apologize ahead of time!

Now . . . off to try and tackle my mountain of work that I must finish before I make my exit from the great state of Delaware . . . sigh.
