I have been the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with my daughter for the past couple days. Just got word that she can go to a regular room and hopefully be released tomorrow. How are you suppose to eat healthy and exercise in this environment! LOL

I have only left her side to use the bathroom and eat once a day. There is no food allowed in her room. So that leaves me to run to the cafeteria scarf down some food and run back! Not healthy at all. And considering I had just started the Spring into Shape Bootcamp Challenge...... I will be several days behind now. I know I am not getting enough calories in not to mention no exercise.

Once I get her back on her feet....... I will be back on mine!

I hope your daughter is on the mend! No matter what the hospital says, it's hard to eat healthy food when you're so limited in what you can do. Whenever my sister is in the hospital (which is fairly often), we try to take turns staying with her so everyone can take care of themselves too. Let your daughter take priority for now and soon you'll be back to a more regular routine. Good luck!

Your priorities are in the right order. Your daughter comes first. Hope she will be back in good health soon.

Life often gets in the way and you have to set priorities. Right now concentrating on your daughter is the number one. The great thing about our bodies is that they are forgiving and you can start again soon. Don't put double stress on yourself worrying about food/exercise stuff. It will all be there when you are ready to begin again. Meanwhile my prayers are with you and your family.

Being a caretaker is difficult on many levels but hopefully she will get out soon and both of you can get back to your routines.
