How did I fall this far that fast?

Monday, April 30, 2012

Well, obviously I fell off the wagon about Nov. and never seemed to really get it back together. Went to the doctor Fri. had to step on the "dreaded" scales. I have gained 25 pounds back. Can't blame anybody but me. My sugar is up. When I go to my regular doc, she is going to have a fit and I hate to see what I have done to my A1C.

I fell back in Nov. and dislocated my shoulder, that kind of put a damper on my exercise, but it was no excuse! I know better! I was almost down 70 pounds and swore I was not going back. Why?

I have got to get motivated. Got to get back on track. Crippled, sickly, unable to enjoy my children and grandchildren is NOT how I want to spend my "golden years".

Did they give you exercises and stretches for your shoulder? It's easy to lose mobility in a shoulder without even noticing it. I spent three months doing physical therapy to regain full mobility in my shoulder, and I never even noticed an injury in it.

I've fallen off the wagon so many times. But it always improves once I get back on.

I'm facing a similar fall off the wagon right now, so I can empathize. We can do it! Best of luck getting back on track.
