Eating fast food? Choose the kid/junior size.
Yes, even on LC. Part of losing weight is mental. They say: "eat like a skinny person."
"BUT I"M HUNGRY! and not like a skinny person!"
Yeah.... BUT! You can still eat like a skinny person. So eat that smaller portion. Like a skinny person would. DON"T eat the freaking BIG VALUE meal. You have now successfully eaten like a skinny person.
AND! AND! AND!
A couple of hours from now, when you are again or still hungry, go out and have ANOTHER "skinny person" size meal. Why? Because you are hungry!
But why eat 2 small meals instead of one? Because you are in training to be a skinny person. So you're eating (twice) like a skinny person. No, silly, you are not counting calories (on low carb), but you ARE training your brain. And more importantly, you ARE training your stomach and entire gut to act like a skinny person and expect to be fed like a skinny person. You ARE learning to be satisfied with less at any one time. Bet'cha anything that eventually, you will find that you can eat and be satisfied with less than you used to eat.
