Yesterday I found my motivation. Funny how I didn't even notice it was missing!!
I made a bad decision to work a grave shift in the hopes that I would stay up after work and work out in the gym. This didn't happen at all, way too tired. I will be back on a regular shift in a couple of weeks. I still exercised, gotta get in those minutes for my challenge, but it wasn't with my old enthusiasm.
I was going through the motions without enjoying it at all. Just glad it didn't affect my weight.
I have been going through the motions of looking for a job, found one that sounds like a good fit, and then I procrastinated on submitting the online application. I woke yesterday in a very positive frame of mind, did some awesome upper body ST, did some dancing to the music on the movie I was watching (very high energy music) and then I went to work. I stayed very active at work and I even completed that darn application and submitted it. Felt awesome afterwards too.
Today I slept for 8 hours and I feel wonderful! I will be heading into work early to knock out some core exercises at the gym, better mats than I have at home, and I will stay active while working again.
For all those foodies out there last nights dinner was absolutely delicious, see previous blog, so SF you might want to give that one a try. I did forget to mention that I use the tomato sauce that comes seasoned with oregano, basil and garlic. Dinner tonight is sautéed yellow squash (yes I love squash), crispy kale, chickpeas and cauliflower veggie mix topped with parmesan tilapia. I take two meals to work and my second one is always a salad with yogurt dressing.
Watch out peeps because today I am a whirlwind of exercise!!
