I may weigh myself at other points in the week, but Sunday morning is my official "weigh in day". The day where I actually write down the scale results and compare the number to other previous Sundays.
I have found that knowing I am accountable Sunday morning, sometimes helps me make better choices on a Saturday night.
In the past 7 weeks, the scale has progressively shown smaller numbers. (except for one week, which I think had to do with water retention from the monthly lady time).

In total, I have lost 16 pounds! This is darn exciting to me and at one time it felt like a goal I could not achieve. However, by focusing on good choices around food and exercise one day at at time, and logging everything in SP each week I have had small, progressive losses which are adding up over time. That said, there is a long way to go. This is so much more a marathon than a sprint- and the beginning of a whole new me!
And now, to keep up the small changes that I have made (and enjoy) to continue to build on this success!
