Before I got pregnant for the 2nd time, I had joined Curves, because I wanted to loose weight, but I was feeling totally insecure about going to a gym with males in it... And thin women, and actually let's face it, with tons of people who look good in spandex! Lol! I don't, and Curves was actually the gym that was the closest to me, and was providing me with a secure non judging environment to work out. Then I got pregnant and I stopped for a while, planning on coming back after the baby... It was without counting on my club going into bankruptcy... So The new Curves is now too far from my house, and I exercise by myself. Even though I miss it. While at Curves, I joined the nutritional class. I bought the book, and followed the Curves diet, in 3phases... And you know what? It was working really well for me! For the 1st time I had found a diet that was working and which was helping a lot in case of plateau...
So tomorrow I will go back to the Curves diet...
Phase 1 : 1200cal. for 1 week
Phase 2 : 1500 cal. for 2 weeks
Phase 3 : 1800 cal. until you put on 3lbs, then back to phase 1
The goal being to be able to be on phase 3 the longest without putting on weight.And even to go up to 2200cal if you are a bit more active... Phase 3 is not a restrictive diet at all! Phase 3 is life... It's for the long run. There are also a bunch of "rules" to follow, tracking the nutritional intakes, but SP will help me greatly with this.
So tomorrow, I am back on the Curves diet, adding to it the SP Spring bootcamp, and and 5kwalk/jog, and the 10min. exercise per day... Hoping to see results at the end of May, hopefully!
