Spring

Saturday, April 28, 2012

And April is almost gone snowdrops and Daffodils are dying off to be replaced by lilac bushes
and our street is lined with Japanese Cherry Blossom trees,it looks like a sea of pink I will try
to get a picture of them before the wind and rain blow the blossoms down.[It looks like pink snow}. Going to plant some sweet pea seeds and frilly poppies too hope they do well.

Have a good week-end everyone.

Cheers emoticon

When I lived in DC, I so loved the Cherry Blossoms blooming in the Spring. Enjoy the eruption of color! Hugs, Laurel emoticon

Here in the shadow of the Rockies our daffodils, lilac bushes, & tulips are still going strong. They are breathtakingly beautiful to behold. This is the first year that the tulips have been showing in their full glory while the daffodils are doing the same. Usually the daffodils come first & about the time they go by the wayside the tulips are coming up. My beloved gardener (hubby) explained that he planted a different type of daffodil last Fall - so the mystery was solved.

The Cherry Blossom trees sound so lovely.

Be blessed with success.

The weather here is soooo bad. Loads of wind & rain. Hope it passes soon.
Went to see Cirque last week.! They are touring with Alegria in the UK at the moment. Unfortunately our seats weren't the best, but it was fantastic anyway.
