Well, the legs are starting to feel a bit better. Had an Xray but since stress fractures rarely show up on them, I doubt if anyone will see anything.

The GI doc was not really that helpful but I have an endoscopy and bone scan coming up this next month, thanks to the nurse there. She listens. She doesn't always know what to tell me to do but she's darn good. I rarely see the docs there but I am going to ask them to check for mast cells when they do the next biopsy during the endoscopy. Not something they do often.

Even with the meds, the gastritis is painful and getting worse. I'm careful with what I am eating and so it shouldn't be from eating spicy food, ect. I am thinking it may be an allergy, or it may be an autoimmune gastritis.

I've been on juice and rice toast today. I think I'll keep that up a few more days then try to gradually add some foods back and track what upsets my stomach. I have to get to some sort of baseline or not having so much pain, though. I woke up this morning and it was horrific, and that's on meds.

I was thinking if it is an allergy maybe it would respond to benedryl, so I took one. I did feel better but that may be from the drying up the acids, as well. Not sure. I'll try it a time or two more, and see, plus keep on the apple juice and toast and gradually adding a few more foods one at a time. It's going to be a process. Of course if I'm allergic to apples and rice, I'm not going to get anywhere... emoticon

I may be sleeping through the weekend. See you guys Monday! Spark On! emoticon

You're doing the best that anyone can under the circumstances, so don't give up on you. In the meantime, lots of emoticon emoticon emoticon for you!

I feel for you as I feel miserable when I have stomach problems. But, usually taking a pill or two relieves my pain. I hope the tests you're having will give more clues as to what's going on. Life is challenging enough without having all the health problems you're going through. I will continue praying for pain relief and feeling good once again. If sleeping away the weekend will help you feel better I think that is an excellent idea.

emoticon Hang in there, friend. Sometimes self-diagnosis is better, or at least helps the Dr. figure out what's up. Applauding your start-clean, add things one at a time, scientific approach. Food allergies are tough to figure out, if they are a contributing factor.

Here's hoping it starts to settle a little and you can find the triggers.
