DD and I went outlet shopping today. The main goal was to get me a new dress. This was to be a reward for making my April goal. Well I will not make my April goal but I do need and want a new dress. I am looking forward to a year full of social activities. I have two nieces and one nephew who are getting married in the next year. The family is throwing an engagement party for them in early June. I wanted something that would fit for that party. I ended up buying 2 dresses, one a bit fancy for one of the weddings and one a bit more casual that I can wear this summer. I also got a 2nd pair of dressy pants. I wanted some denim shorts but did not find any.
What I did find was a very deep pan that I can use for lasagne. I have been looking for one for a long time. I also got a large wooden board I can use to roll out my pizza dough. My stone counters cool off my pizza dough. I wanted a wooden board because it would keep the dough warm. DD found a lot of things to outfit her BF new apartment. She also got 2 new dresses. I got a gift for my MIL for Mother's day. I don't go shopping often but about once a year I like to visit outlets. This was this year's trip.
That was the fun part. Now the not so fun part. We ate in the food court for lunch. I chose a slice of broccoli and spinach stuffed pizza. It seemed to be a healthy choice. It was served with a side and I chose the sauteed veggies. That was a bowl of carrots, zucchini, broccoli, and yellow squash. I had a bottle of water for my beverage. Well googling the pizza when I cam home and the calories were an astronomical 840 calories. The filling was veggie with a little cheese, no meat. The crust was thin. I would never have guessed it had that many calories. Dinner was also eaten out. We went to a Thai restaurant and I ordered a pork and eggplant dish cooked in a green curry. Again I have no idea how many calories. So today I am not tracking since I can't do it with any accuracy. I do feel I ate healthy food but I suspect my calories are off the charts. Well today is over and tomorrow is a new day.
