Still flopping

Friday, April 27, 2012

The last few days have been hectic. But now I need to settle down and get back to work. I'm well-rested, being somewhat active, but need to work on the nutrition and stress. Both of the latter can be addressed with planning. The nutrition through meal planning, The stress needs to be addressed through relaxation, exercise and stop worrying.

"I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened." ~Mark Twain

"Worrying never did anyone any good" - Proverb

"The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence." -Confucius

You must be psychic! Those quotes were just what I needed to hear today.

You're on top of things and will be back in the "water" soon or are you already there?

Glad you're your home safe and sound!

My DH regularly says to me, "You'll never wish you'd worried more". Of course the opposite is true: when it doesn't happen, I often wish I'd worried less!! And not spoiled what could have been a good time.

Thanks for your comments on my comfort blog. Tolerating a little discomfort is definitely worth it!

Sometimes it can be hard to "settle down" after a period of disruption, good OR bad. But you've weathered many ups and downs before, so I know you'll be getting back to business in no time. Are you back at the pool?

You have the urge, desire and will so it appears you are doing it. Great job Nancy, way to hang tough through the ups and downs of your days.
