I know I have not been very active since my last very positive blog post. One may think I lost my momentum but this could not be further from the truth. I have burned 1100 calories so far this week and begin W2/D2 of 5K training tonight...in the rain. I feel like I will be earning a badge of honor, my first inclement weather run.
I am training with my neighbor in our local No Boundaries program. Beginning 5K training with someone who is going through it for the FIRST time takes the string somewhat out of the unfairness of having to start from scratch again myself. We are at the same level; we can share the successes and challenges and look forward to our "first" race together. Having always before run solo, it is a nice change to have a partner.
My next goal will be to start tracking my food again. And then weighing and measuring regularly. That will mean I am on Spark again more often so I will catch up with everyone soon!
