So glad it is not a bowflex day!

Thursday, April 26, 2012

I am committed to continuing my program of doing bowflex every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I just don't like doing strength building. I hate the counting and the reps. but I know it works as my muscle tell me so. And I actually like the feeling of sore muscles knowing that I have worked them out. My girlfriend hasn't been able to work out with me this week so it's been even more of a challenge to push myself to do it. Her husband is in the hospital and supposed to get surgery today on his back. He has several bad disks and has to have several rods put in his back. He is in a special hospital in Guadalajara that does back surgeries and has a good reputation. I pray all goes well today.
Hope all my sparks buddies are doing great today.
Make it a good one!
Sallie

Well, you have to make yourself do things sometimes that you do not like. Praying for your friends husband. Let us know how he is doing

Best wishes for your friend's DH.
Sometimes it is nice to have a little break. After 3 mornings of brisk walking DH was ready for a break :) I did my yoga at the regular time and then a ball video from spark people - love those!

Just remember strength training helps maintain bone mass as we age, it's a good thing!
