--I'm hoping the title quote is correct. I just can't seem to lose any weight lately... :( Drat! I need to log my food. I don't think the amount of exercise is the problem so.....it must be the calorie intake...Drat, drat! ...Must find lo-cal meals that taste good. I have a few already just sometimes (especially lunch) I go for the higher-cal quick grab. I need to plan out my week better.
--Everything else is carrying on as normal. It stopped raining and the sun is now out, but it's still too wet to do anything in the garden. I'm supposed to get some herbs delivered today that I ordered on Sunday. Hooray! My new garden is filling in by the day. I planted some garlic chives and zucchini and yellow crookneck squash yesterday. I think I am all about done with planting now except for the arriving herbs. I still have some irrigation stuff to set up and some mulch to throw around.
--Wait---just remembered, I still need to plant another "landscape" shrub in the front. I need something that likes a lot of sun and heat. Not sure what to put there....Any suggestions? Oh, and I have 5 red munstead stonecrops and some russian sage to plant. I think I have a place for them in mind. Probably on the slope to the "creek" (actually a drainage ditch sans cement) since they both can tolerate dry conditions. Then I am done planting...
--Tomorrow I have another Chinese workbook coming from B&N so I can practice writing. I have to order a lot of stuff online living here.
--Okay, well I can't think of anything else to write so I guess I will have to actually do some housework. Housework scares me!

You are one busy lady! Your garden sounds great and you're still working on your Chinese! Whew! Try to make a weekly meal plan. Have some grapes, strawberries, tiny tomatoes - little things ready to grab instead of your high calorie "grabs".
Good luck! emoticon Nancy

Logging your food definitely makes a difference. If you think housework scares you, you should see what some of our innocent looking food contains, re: cals & fat. Now that's scary!!
