I did reasonably well today, considering the world was trying to throw a wrench in my plans!
First my kids were starting to get sick, so I couldn't take them to the gym with me to workout. My husband was working late and our regular babysitter was unavailable. I almost didn't go, but my husband managed to get home at 9:15pm, so I went and did a 5K.
My legs were still sore from spinning class yesterday (and probably the 5 miles I jogged on Monday), so I walked most of it. Honestly, I'm proud that I worked out at all. I know I will work out extra hard tomorrow, since it is my weekly appointment with my trainer.
Since I worked at my kids school today, I packed a healthy lunch to take with me. Immediately after taking the first bite, I drop the entire bowl on the floor sending it flying. Rather embarrassing! I was so hungry, but I refrained from eating the snacks offered because I knew I should wait 45 minutes until I was home and could have something healthier.
I stayed within my calorie/fat/carb/protein/fiber goals. Still, I probably shouldn't have eaten the entire serving of goldfish my daughter insisted on feeding me. She's two and adorable, I had trouble resisting!
