1st year running---progress and goals!!

Dec 2011---joined Black Girls Run!!! A fitness and health National track club that is bringing awareness to the African American community regarding exercise, running and fitness!

Jan 2012---1st 5K --- Mayor's 5K Miami Gardens -- no timing :(

Feb 19, 2012-- 2nd 5K---Feeding South FL--33:26

Mar 3, 2012--3rd 5K--March Against Hunger--33:36

Mar 31, 2012--Women's Wellness 5K--31:00:6

Apr 28, 2012--Run For Remembrance 5k--

Complete one 5K per month.
Finish first 10k.
Finish first half-marathon in Nov 2012.
Meet and run w/ Doral 33178 emoticon

    WOW! That's awesome progress in your first not-yet-full-year of running. I know it must help a lot to be a member of that running club. Goals are always more fun achieving when others are celebrating along with you. Praise God! Keep up the great work and continue reaching towards your goals.

    One of these days we will get together and run; our schedules will align soon.

    Good luck to you this weekend. I am going to run a race this weekend as well; I just have not decided which one. The Doral 5k is on Saturday. From my front door to the start line, I could walk there in 20 minutes. And then there is the repeat of my first trail run on Sunday. I can do walk up registrations for both.
