Personality Color...

Wednesday, April 25, 2012

I jumped on the bandwagon and took the color test, and I was actually surprised by the results! Although BLUE is my FAVE color, I expected the result to be White based on Nicoles results! So, here is what it says about me:

Blues are motivated by Intimacy. They seek to genuinely connect with others, and need to be understood and appreciated. Everything they do is quality-based. They are loyal friends, employers, and employees. Whatever or whomever they commit to is their sole (and soul) focus. They love to serve and give of themselves freely in order to nurture others' lives.

Blues have distinct preferences and have the most controlling personality. Their personal code of ethics is remarkably strong and they expect others to live honest, committed lives as well. They enjoy sharing meaningful moments in conversation as well as paying close attention to special life events (e.g. birthdays and anniversaries). Blues are dependable, thoughtful, and analytical; but can also be self-righteous, worry-prone, and moody. They are "sainted pit-bulls" who never let go of something or someone once they are committed. When you deal with a BLUE, be sincere and make a genuine effort to understand and appreciate them.

Hmmmm... I've been described as "controlling" before... don't really care for that adjective, but the rest of it doesn't sound so bad...

Mel - I bought this book and probably started this conversation :-) LOL Over Easter my sister (who has the book) made me take the quiz, so I have the FULL analysis and it is so much fun!

For those of you who answered it as a kid - I think what they REALLY mean is to think back as far as you can (to current) and answer the questions from who you are "in your core" - if as a child you were one who always brought home a stray cat, and as an adult you always gravitate toward the people who "need" you the most, then that is one "core" personality trait...answer from THAT place...

    Did that make sense? :-D

I'm a proud YELLOW! and my yellow is strong with very small percentages of the other three colors :-D LOL

Moody fits! LOL Just kidding, actually most of it fits, but I understand not liking the 'controlling' adjective...I think it should be more "in demand" or "mind set". :)

I got Yellow! Interesting how this is all based off of our perceptions as kids, though. I wonder if I retook the test, using my perception of myself as of, say actions made last month, if it would be different.
Yellow is also one of my least favorite colors, lol.. but the personality analysis is pretty good. I wouldn't say 100% true, but pretty good, nonetheless.

LOL Terry, I like the idea of a required color test analysis! Jeni, I think this explains why I was the only parent to correct my child at the tball practice for throwing dirt... always controlling him! LOL! I bet YOU'D tell YOUR kid to stop it too! :-)

Hmm - you're blue, Nicole's white, Kat's yellow and I'm a mix of all four. This could be interesting! Any additional Admin would have to be red, I'm thinking ;- )
