Administrative Professionals Day

Wednesday, April 25, 2012

I am one of 5 paralegals in our office and annually on Adminstrative Profesionals Day our boss orders pizza for us. This year she asked me what kind of pizza I can eat on my diet and said I've noticed you've lost weigth and I don't want to sabotage anything. :)

So I suggested getting a thin crust, easy on the cheese and sauce with veggies. :) So she ordered one of those and then the usual thick crust heavy cheese, full of meat (it's actually called "gut buster" pizzas that they normally order. The pizza place is a mom and pop place.

Super happy she took my diet in consideration and noticed my weight loss :)

That's great! My boss always buys us a big basket of chocolates and candies and JUNK! This year was no different, but she also told them to throw a couple bananas and apples in there so I could join in!!

That was very thoughtful in both the approach and the outcome.

How nice! We got our administrative assistant a nice bouquet of flowers and a card, and offered to take her to lunch but she was busy that day... so we all drank for 8 hours instead. ;)

I ate a vegetarian pizza for the first time last month (with cheese). It was awesome, eggplant, artichoke etc... Usually co-workers try to sabotage your efforts so good for you. Did you tell him your not on a diet. You just made a life style change and don't do gut buster anymore (or special occasion only)?

Good for you, it was very considerate of your boss to think of you first. Not everyone has consideration of individuals who are eating healthy. emoticon
