GRRRR grumble grumble! snarl! growl!

Wednesday, April 25, 2012

I decided to not eat meat for this week to try and see if it would settle my stomach issues... well, I am happy to say, yes, I am not going within 30 minutes of eating. Thank you Lord Almighty! I'm going to stick with it. I am not even tempted to eat meat. Although, if I come across chicken breast I kinda miss it for a minute, at least, lol.

Anyway... I was having an AWFUL day yesterday with my kids. I was SOOOOOO fed up with their misbehaving and fighting I nearly broke all my teeth in my mouth grinding them from frustration and anger. I know some of you will say, "Hana, you should get a babysitter one night and have a girls night out" blah blah blah... that never happens in Hana's world. People are jerks. No one wants to babysit 3 kids on a Friday night when they themselves could be out having fun, or relaxing at home alone, in peace, and quiet. After everyone finally went to bed last night, I swear I was so tempted to go to a local bar downtown and drink the night away, on a MONDAY night, LOL.

I was waiting and waiting for the husband to come home to hand off the madness to him, and OF COURSE he doesn't come home until after 8pm. So I popped in Jillian Shred and sweat and punched my anger out. And of course, the girls joined me, LOL. It helped. I was EXHAUSTED by the time I was done. OMGosh. I wanted to do the elliptical afterwards, but I was SO tired I couldn't put my arms over my head that's how tired I was. So, I told my husband, they are yours for the rest of the night. I hopped into a HOT HOT shower and soaked up the silence and serenity of the sounds of nothing but running water. AHHHHHH nice.... probably the only time in my day where I can actually be alone in peace and quiet.

Haha :-D hadn't seen this blog I can sooooo relate to this. You are right it is not easy to find someone who can take care of three kids!!! And not exactly cheap either and that's on top of what you spend going out. I hardly ever even get to enjoy a quiet shower!!! Seriously my two yr old is so attached that he will either be at the door sscreaming and crying or right outside the shower asking every minute if I am done yet...

Well, I don't know the ages of your kids.. but I look forward to Friday Movie night every week, where I sit them down with a movie on a small tv in my room, while the hubby and I watch a movie for ourselves in the living room. I might have to pause my movie and get them to bed, and finish mine later, but boy does it feel nice to have that "quiet" time doing something I want to do, watching something I want to watch.
Great job on the workout! that and a hot shower can work wonders!!

emoticon on finding your own solution to your tummy issues, and for dealing with your stressful day in such a positive way! I'm not a mom, so I was always the one that took all my friends/sisters kids just for the FUN of being around them. It never mattered if it was just a few hours or overnight, when I gave them back, I would always NEED to sleep to recover. I admire you for being able to take care of yourself, while taking care of your family. Way to go! emoticon emoticon

I was just telling my girlfriend last night that it's funny how our kids can have us wrapped around their fingers one minute and then have us wanting to throttle them the next. Glad you handled the anger in a constructive way and got your workout in! That's a great outlet!

Exercise can often be a great stress and anger reliever. Next time you feel some rage work it out again! Good motivation tool!
