All right, I'm taking a new strategy for a test drive. This applies to everything from weight loss to work to social activities and everything in between. Here it is: for every decision I have to make for the rest of this week, before taking action I will first ask myself - is (doing/eating/avoiding/postpon
ing/etc) this going to help make me awesome? If yes, proceed. If no, cease and desist.
Will eating ice cream make me awesome? NO! Will staying up late make me awesome? HELL to the no! Will going for a run make me awesome? You betcha! Will buckling down and finishing my research proposal lead to awesome? Aw yeah! Grass fed beef and roasted broccoli? Yes! Blueberries? Bring 'em on! Griping about my boss? No way, Jose. Making the most of a tiring situation and doing my best at work anyway? Awesomesauce!
