My daughter invited us over for dinner this evening. Her father-in-law is visiting from out of town and it was our only chance to get to visit with him. That meant that my food choices were limited to what she served. She served lasagna, garlic bread and a salad. She did add a lot of extra vegetables to the lasagna, which made it a little healthier than usual. It did still have the cheese. I ate a big serving of salad. Over all it was somewhere in the middle of the food plan choices.
The rest of the day was right on plan. So, overall, it wasn't too bad. Had I known we were going to be going to eat earlier, I probably would have planned an even lighter breakfast and lunch, so having an uncontrolled dinner choice would not have mattered as much, because I would have had more extra calories to work with.
