Today, I stayed within my calorie range--something I've had trouble with lately. I met all my nutrition goals (protein, carbs, fat) and even got in some fitness. My daughter takes ballet on Tuesdays and while she is in her class I can go for a walk or jog. The dance teacher prefers for parents to wait outside. So I have an hour every week where I can have time to myself, not worry about getting anywhere, just an hour for me. I've decided to dedicate this hour to walking or jogging because it falls in perfectly with my schedule.
Mondays strength (I've been doing Coach Nicole's 28 day bootcamp DVD)
Friday Body Groove dance/pilates
Saturday run and/or yoga
I have a 5k race with my dad this weekend. It's to raise money for a children's hospital. It's his first race and my daughter will participate in the kid's fun run! I can't wait. She has wanted to do a race with me. She knows I run and has come for walks/jogs around the neighborhood. She came out to cheer me on with my husband when I did the marathon last month. I think it will be good for her to experience it. She will have fun.
I will definitely take pictures and write a blog about it!
